I had spotted Saal Digital online before ordering from them, their Instagram advert had popped up a few times on my feed and I had been following them for a while. I actually decided to order a product that I would never have ordered before. I got my photograph printed on the Alu-Dibond Butlerfinish material. The ordering process was a bit annoying for me at first as no Zip code would be accepted on their website to ship to Ireland (this has happened on a lot of other websites to be fair.) After contacting their customer service team they advised to download the software off their website. Downloading and installing the software was a piece of cake and it worked perfectly. Zip code be gone! The product arrived in good time and was well packed.
The finished product was nicely saturated and the effect on the Alu-Dibond came out so well. The print reflects light well and has an almost 3D effect from the metallic finish. I would definitely recommend this finish for black and white prints as well as moody cloudscapes. A light above the print would really make it pop too as I have noticed that the print catches indoor lighting well (as well as natural lighting). It nearly 'shines' off the wall when a light hits it, but not in a glossy way. It looks like it comes to life in the light. An added extra that I ordered was getting the subframe installed on the back of the print, it was great to get it delivered and ready to hang. It feels very strong and sturdy as a wall decor. The rainbow in the photo came out so well too, I was nearly expecting to see the saturation and definition disappear on this material but it turned out to be better than expected. I like the print more and more every day.
Overall, I am very happy with the print and with the company. The customer services team were easy to deal with and they answered every question and addressed any issues that I had with the 'Zip code fiasco'..! I will definitely order off them again. I do sell on prints but after receiving this one....well...I think I'll keep it for myself :)
